  • 1 large fresh pineapple Use one fully ripe large pineapple; it should smell sweet at the base and give slightly when pressed. Ripe pineapple delivers maximum bromelain, natural sweetness and vibrant juice color.
  • 1 medium fresh coconut Use a medium sized fresh coconut; extract both the coconut meat and water for the richest most nutritious juice. Do not discard the coconut water; add it directly to your juice

Instructions

  • Step 1 — Prepare your pineapple. Peel your large pineapple by cutting off the top and bottom first. Then stand it upright and carefully slice the skin off from top to bottom. Cut the peeled pineapple into chunks or desired shapes for easier juicing.

  • Step 2 — Prepare your coconut. Crack open your medium-sized coconut carefully. Extract the white coconut meat from the shell. The coconut meat is what you will be juicing — not the coconut water inside, which you can drink separately or add to the juice afterward.

  • Step 3 — Juice both fruits. Feed your pineapple pieces through your electric juicer first, collecting the fresh pineapple juice in a jug. Next, pass the coconut meat through the juicer to extract the rich coconut juice.
